The sound of Anna Fasshauer hammer hitting aluminum goes 'Boom Boom,' embodying the concept of onomatopoeia. In her sculpture construction, the hammer serves as a vital tool, akin to a painter's brush. Anna Fasshauer shapes aluminum sheets with it, alternating between construction and destruction, resulting in a buildup-and-breakdown process. Different hammers are used based on required force, with each blow stiffening the metal. The noise in the workshop adds another layer to the process, with phonetically titled works capturing this aspect.
