Gallery 9 is delighted to present works by Helen Smith in her solo exhibition A Curved Space. We welcome you to join us in celebrating the opening of this exhibition and meet the artist at Gallery 9 on Wednesday 8 May from 6–8pm.
The physics of momentum through the x, y and z axis is considered in this series of works. Whether it be actual or imagined, a sense of movement in the paintings creates multi-stability, much like a filter that shifts between two alternatives.
