Things can get distorted through the veil of a brave face. Using a variety of media including video, photography, light and sound, Fazed presents works that swerve between surface pleasures and private breakdowns. Taken individually and in concert, this new suite of works toy with the membrane screening us from our harsh realities. Some things are a bit hazy; others are more clearly warped and out of kilter. They remind us that although we try to keep it together, cracks sometimes appear in the veneer.
