Victoria Miro is delighted to participate in Art Basel Hong Kong (Booth 1C21) with a presentation of new and historical works by Milton Avery, Hernan Bas, María Berrío, Inka Essenhigh, Secundino Hernández, Kudzanai-Violet Hwami, Chantal Joffe, Yayoi Kusama, Doron Langberg, Alice Neel, Chris Ofili, Celia Paul and Flora Yukhnovich.
Among important historical works on view are paintings by Milton Avery****and Alice Neel. Two works from 2018 by Yayoi Kusama are united by a vibrant palette of green and black. PUMPKIN is a painted bronze sculpture, its curvaceous form adorned with tapering patterns of dots that create a sophisticated geometry. The painting INFINITY DOTS [QGFUU] is almost abstract, its dotted vertical forms pulsing with optical energy.
New and recent works on view include paintings by Chantal Joffe, Kudzanai-Violet Hwami, Doron Langberg, Celia Paul and Flora Yukhnovich.
