Gaston Damag art installations and performance pieces are linked to the world of the Cordillera region in the Northern Philipines, his indigenous Ifugao roots and the woodcarving tradition of his family. Ethnographic symbols and images of ancestry, as well as industrial processes, materials and contexts are the subject of Damag's work.
