Issy Wood is now one of the most highly sought-after painters of her generation.

Her latest exhibition with Carlos/Ishikawa, titled Trilemma, features a suite of new and typically cinematic paintings on velvet in addition to a large-scale sculptural installation.

Vanessa Carlos is well known for being extremely selective about where the gallery places the artist's in-demand works. Primary market prices now reach over six figures for larger-scale works. According to The New York Times, Carlos sold two works at Art Basel for over $100,000.

Issy Wood's auction record stands at $344,827 when Over Armour (non-linear, non-violent) (2019) sold at Christie's earlier this year. The gallery is also showing a solo presentation of Wood's work at Frieze London.
