After a string of institutional shows at MoMA, Haus der Kunst, and London's RA⁠, Michael Armitage has been propelled into an elite group of contemporary painters revered by collectors and curators alike.

With a solo at Kunsthalle Basel opening in May and another at White Cube in London later this year, this move with David Zwirner spells a promising run for the Kenyan-British artist.
