Jen DeNike is a New York based artist whose practice spans the media of dance, photography, sculpture, installation, video and collage. Concerned with American visual vernacular, DeNike’s performances, videos and installations are centred around the body as a platform from which the individual can engage with specific signs, symbols, adornments, rituals or movements.

DeNike has held solo exhibitions in Berlin, Zurich, Los Angeles, New York, Sao Paulo and Milan, and performed extensively at exhibitions and special events internationally. She has also collaborated widely and been involved in countless group exhibitions. Her work is in collection at the Museum of Modern Art, NY; Julia Stoschek Sammlung Collection, Düsseldorf, Germany; and Il Giardino dei Lauri Collection, Umbrio, Italy.
