The visual information that composes the artist's work is a linguistic symbol provided to the extent that we can understand it. And kindly, in the title, the result of meaning that can be produced by combining the linguistic symbol well is presented, and his work starts from this point. Lee Dae Chul does not follow the simple rules and maintains an uncertain attitude in his work. It is not the artist's attitude towards his work, but of his point of view towards the world. The artist first ponders the question of how – what exists can be visually represented and expressed, which deals with the non-deterministic aspect floating between the semiotic form and its meaning. Language cannot determine meaning, it continues to delay the completion of meaning, and continues to cease to define reality. To borrow from the artist's expression, this is an experiment on how non-deterministic meanings are formed through image language, where contradictory meanings intersect, and conflict of difficulty occurs. The artist presents the source from which the sentence can be composed, but this is because even if the audience makes a sentence by combining the words well, it is impossible to know whether it is the author's intention and cannot confirm it. This can be seen as the same reason that perfect completion does not exist in expression and expressing invisible existence. However, the artist uses this attitude as his method of work and replaces formative visual works with temporality. Also, the English alphabet and consonants and vowels of Korean are arranged in a flat or three-dimensional manner. However, in the arrangement includes overlapping and mixing, and the way words are combined here implies complexity and diversity. Of course, many artworks today have the characteristics of arduously stimulating the viewers' minds, but despite doing so, the artist creates a gap that still has room for us to interpret subjectively. have. And this cannot be simply interpreted as versatility of the results. As such, in this exhibition, these ideas are shown once again through plane figures, three-dimensional, and installation works. By presenting words that exist as an image through overlapping and piling, the artist shows that it is impossible to try to explain its meaning and at the same time even if it is possible, it is impractical to define it in the end.
