Pe lang (1974)
Read MoreBorn in 1974 in Switzerland, Pe Lang started with music and sound art experimental creation before working in the kinetic art field. The artist work is about technology and physical phenomenon. He is exploring those field until he found out an interest for sound spaces and the succession of complex movements, which he creats instead of searching them in the nature. The physical phenomenons that he is using are based on magnetism, gravitation and rubbing effects created by series of test.
The Denise René gallery exhibit Pe Lang since 2013. His work is also presented in european and north american institutions and festival, in the form of performances or installations.

Né en 1974 en Suisse, Pe Lang a d'abord cheminé par la musique et les arts sonores expérimentaux avant d'arriver à l'art cinétique. L'artiste mène un travail intense sur la technologie et les phénomènes physiques. Il explore jusqu'à trouver les espaces sonores et les successions de mouvements complexes qui l'intéressent, mais il ne les cherche pas dans la nature, ils les produit lui même. Les phénomènes physiques utilisés reposent avant tout sur le magnétisme ou sur des effets de frottement et de gravitation que l'artiste obtient par des séries d'essais.
Pe Lang est exposé par la galerie denise rené depuis 2013. Son travail est également présenté sous la forme de performances et d'installations dans diverses instituions et festivals européens et nord américains.
