Dirimart proudly presents the exhibition titled Eternal Resonance by Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu, one of the leading names in Turkish art history, a passionate artist, an enthusiastic poet and a visionary art educator. The exhibition, which meets the audience in three different venues in Dirimart Dolapdere and Pera, offers a glimpse into the permanent universe of Eyüboğlu's immortal energy that permeates each of his works.
A master storyteller, Eyüboğlu's works are blended with the purest and most primitive form of emotions; The different media and styles he uses and adopts in his artistic practice are a reflection of the experimentalism in his soul. The artist's works, which deal with themes deeply rooted in human experience, explore cultural symbolism and the lives of ordinary people while establishing connections with an understanding of art that is still valid today. In this respect, his works remind us of how contemporaneity transcends its temporal context, communicates across generations, and evokes universal emotions that defy time.

The first part of the exhibition, located on the 4th floor of the Dirimart Pera building, focuses on Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu's early productions and documents his education process at the Academy and the transformations in his style. The selection includes Eyüboğlu's important works, such as his charcoal drawings, self-portraits, portraits, nudes, and his award-winning graduation work, Hamam and Abduction.
The second part, located on the (minus first) floor, consists of works produced by Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu between the 1930s and 1970s. The selection, which opens with the artist's work Yavuz is Coming, which stood by his bedside until his death in 1975, and includes his last masterpiece, Mor Han, makes it possible to witness Eyüboğlu's artistic development and the themes he repeatedly addressed in different periods. The selection also focuses on the 1950s, the period when Eyüboğlu blended modernist influences with traditional Turkish motifs, and his experimental works on colour and texture from the early 1960s.
These works of Eyüboğlu, which are like timeless myths, transcend geographical borders and acquire new identities in different cultures. They are in a deep connection with the cultural mosaic of the artist's homeland, who adds the imagination of cultural codes to his art. The third and final part of the exhibition, held at Dirimart Dolapdere, features Eyüboğlu's productions between the 1950s and 70s, and offers a unique opportunity to witness his mastery in large-scale works where his artistic expression reaches its peak.
This selection is devoted to the artist's gigantic works such as Ebabil Bird, Bird Child, Karagöz's Ship and Blue Cruise Fish. The selection, which also includes works from the artist's Babatomi and Kiss series in a separate area, offers a comprehensive look at different aspects of Eyüboğlu's career.
