Thinking of documents as palimpsests, Tamar Guimarães practices proposes historical narratives as contingent and fluid, and as spaces from which one can speculate on the present. She's involved in the organization of small, intimate gatherings, collective readings, small-scale public talks and film screenings, invested on the possibilities of creating transient micro-communities and minor public events.
