The work of the Lebanese artist Stéphanie Saadé (born in 1983) is mysterious, poetic, subtle, leaving the viewer to decipher and appropriate it like an archaeologist facing traces, fossils, fragments. The enigma is often located on the side of the personal history of the artist.
French artist Jochen Gerner (born in 1970) rooted his work in the analysis of perceptions of language and image: he uses common visual codes by diverting them. Gerner's work stems from a deep interest in the hidden meaning of everyday patterns and his practie fluctuates between different forms.
