Eva Presenhuber, who celebrated her 30th anniversary as a pioneering gallerist in 2019, launched her namesake gallery in 2003 in Zurich. With a global reputation for representing an international range of contemporary artists, Galerie Eva Presenhuber is now a powerhouse with two locations in Zurich and an outpost in New York.

Galerie Eva Presenhuber represents internationally renowned artists, among them poet and performance artist John Giorno; Ugo Rondinone, recognised for his paintings and large-scale land art sculptures; Liam Gillick, a YBA who works across multiple media to assess the control systems within society; and Candida Höfer, most known for her photographs of the interiors of historical, cultural, and institutional spaces.
Younger generations of artists on Galerie Eva Presenhuber’s roster include the sculptors Oscar Tuazon, Jean-Marie Appriou, and Justin Matherly; Tschabalala Self, who has built a reputation for her depictions of Black female figures; Shara Hughes, who captures invented landscapes in her characteristically colourful paintings; and Lucas Blalock, who creates eccentric digital manipulations ranging from domestic scenes and still lifes to portraits.

Galerie Eva Presenhuber has been participating in major international art fairs since its opening in 2003 and continues to be a regular presence at The Armory Show; Art Basel Hong Kong; Art Basel Miami; artgenève; FIAC; Frieze Los Angeles; Gallery Weekend Beijing; Taipei Dangdai; and West Bund Art & Design.
