"These paintings come from being in a place and absorbing what is happening. I have an experience that is visual, physical and emotional, and try to capture this in the visual medium of painting. I sample from all sorts of other imagery and memories to construct the painting. Immediacy and improvisation are important for executing the paintings because the experience of making them needs to be just another part of living life." Tim Price

Tim Price lives and works in Sydney where he practices as an artist. Tim Price has exhibited frequently in Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart and holds a PHD in painting from Australian National University.
