Every totem and item in Ying-Chang's works represent something. Rose, sun, moon are shown in numerous works. It stands for the 'unforgettable people' or maybe symbolises emotional relying. Ying-Chang uses oil paint to blend together. There are a lot of animals and roles incarnated from his family.
Sometimes birds are on behalf of his wife, sometimes cows are on behalf of his father. You are reading affection between him and his family, his gift and essence when you are tasting his paintings. Sometimes, you will associate with Alice's Adventures in Wonderland while realising deeply about his works. After deformed, Alice tells the caterpillar: 'As you can see, I'm no longer what I used to be'. However, the caterpillar asks her 'Who are you? Do you satisfy yourself now?'. Perhaps, we all need courage to break disorientation. Just like jumping into a strong current and let the power push forward. Make wishing fountain take us to the place where even initial dreams couldn't take us arrived.
While everyone is chasing elevation, Lu Ying-Chang's paintings catch their eye. After the passionate of art market passing, it's might just a mortal who silently looks at excitement. Yet ruminant life of the double-sided campaign and the maturity undergoing the flame are Lu Ying-Chang lighting in our heart.
