Born in Hong Kong, a truly unique city of high density and certain idiosyncrasy, it is hard to imagine her subject matter replicated in a different location. Ng's works are thoughtful constructs full of humour, simple truths and imaginative displays of our collective humanity.
With a BA in Visual Arts from Hong Kong Baptist University, Carmen Ng is also the winner of the Distinguished Print Award at the 29th Hong Kong Print Awards 2017. Her works are in the collection of Hang Seng Bank, Procter & Gamble in Hong Kong and Guangzhou, China, Soho House Hong Kong and a Hong Kong private education foundation, as well as numerous local private collections.
