Parafin will participate at Art Brussels with a solo presentation of painting and sculpture by Hynek Martinec in the Discovery section. Martinec’s work explores ideas about time, history, reality and spirituality, often appropriating imagery from Old Masters as well as contemporary references. The presentation in Brussels comes ahead of the artist's forthcoming solo exhibition Voyage to Iceland at the National Gallery, Prague.
