Curry’s sculptures are informed by figurative painting, graffiti, cubism, cartoons, and abstraction, and are made from found materials such as twine, cardboard, posters, beads, and wood. His fluorescent works, which the artist describes as paintings, are reminiscent of the modernist works of Alexander Calder and Henry Moore.

Aaron Curry’s work is held in many public collections including the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago; the Los Angeles County Museum of Art; the San Francisco Museum of Art; the Seattle Art Museum; and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles.
