Mehmet Ali Uysal was born in 1976 in Mersin, Turkey. He is currently working as a research associate in the Department of Fine Arts and Music at Middle Eastern Technical University. The artist is represented by Pi Artworks since 2009.

Nesrin Esirtgen Collection in Istanbul hosted his last solo exhibition titled Peel (2012).
