British artist Oliver Beer recalls his background in both music and fine art to create works which explore the relationship between sound and space with a particular focus on voice and architecture. Beer's sound arrangements call into question the artist's own fascination with the emotional and sentimental value of physical objects and spaces. His works are participatory in the sense that the viewers presence becomes instrumental in seeking to explore how the human body experiences sound.
