Dieter Roth Biography

Dieter Roth (b. 1930, d. 1998) and Björn Roth worked collaboratively as father and son for over twenty years. Their mediums vary from sculpture to painting to print making, collagist, poet, diarist, graphic designer, publisher, filmmaker and musician.

Recent exhibitions include Roth Bar & Studio. Dieter Roth, Björn Roth, Oddur Roth at Hauser & Wirth, Zurich; Dieter Roth and Björn Roth – Islands, Hangar Bicocca, Milan; and Dieter Roth. Björn Roth at Hauser & Wirth, New York.
