Eduardo Navarro is an Argentinian artist working in sculpture, collage, performance and installation. His works often involve the participation of specific groups, using art as a platform to explore social conditions and enviromental parameters. His work on paper have been described as 'figurative but frequently absurd or fantastic drawings that have a humourous or spontaneous quality.' This sense of humour also permeates his installations, which take on monumental and monotonous tasks such as filling in personal details via silkscreen print, or trapping 16,000 ants in drops of glue. In 2006 Navarro was named as one of ARTNews' 'Young Artists to Watch.'
