Guy Ngan is one of New Zealand’s best-known muralists. His work pays tribute to immigrant and indigenous cultures in the Pacific, often integrating motifs from Māori and Chinese art. Ngan was also a public art works consultant for the Ministry of Works (1956) and his work is held in The Beehive, Parliament Building, in Wellington.
