He has won numerous prestigious drawing and painting awards, including the 1987 Tarragona Biennial painting prize.
His works have been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions and his works are to be found in several public collections like Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Amsterdam CaixaForum Barcelona, Barcelona Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona (MACBA), Barcelona Centro de Arte Caja Burgos (CAB), Burgos Patio Herreriano - Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Español, Valladolid.
