LEE EUN

LEE Eun focuses on the transition from GIF to painting. She collects animated image from GIPHY everyday and replay them in the studio. Lee's piece asks for the difference and consideration between moving image and still painting through her gesture of painting. LEE Eun received a Bachelor of fine Arts from the Ewha Womans University in Seoul, Korea and receiving her Master of fine Arts from the Seoul National University of Science and Technology. And she held solo exhibition at Uhjjuhda GALLERY2, Seoul (2018). She also participated in group exhibitions at Space 55, Seoul (2020), Museum of Art Seoul National University of Science and Technology, Seoul (2020) and Kyobo Book Center, Seoul (2021). She now lives in Seoul, creating her works and preparing a solo show at Gallery Chosun(2022).
