Born in 1968 Naiza Khan is based in Karachi, Pakistan. Her artistic practice centres on observations of gender and its political manifestations in the context of her personal experiences, and is expressed through a variety of media including sculpture, photography, painting and printmaking. Trained in England at the prestigious Ruskin School of Art, Oxford and Wimbledon School of Art, London, Khan’s work has been exhibited widely including Hanging Fire: Contemporary Art from Pakistan, New York, Art Dubai and the Menasa Art Fair In Beirut.
