Nandini Bagla Chirimar Biography

Nandini Chirimar through her drawings of material and objects documents memory and loss. Her representation acts as an autobiographical account where on paper, she instils maps, vegetation, architecture, letters, photographs and different kinds of curios. Her works provide an alternate view of still life, which subsequently is no longer only a still-life but a memory preserved on paper. Sensitively, she observes and absorbs the elements that define her life which ultimately find a valuable space in the composition she constructs.
