This year, key sessions will be shaped around the art market to acknowledge the dramatic shift of the last decade and its influence on the gallery system. Despite the rediscovery of many women artists and the record prices at auctions, there is still a lot of work to do when it comes to fair representation and gender parity in the art world: the struggle for the achievement of equal conditions for female practitioners will be at the core of this year's symposium. Other key topics are the recent booming African market, the fast growth of publishing and content departments in the galleries, the shifting tastes and dedication of collectors, and new approaches to the gallery business from technological and conceptual perspectives. The keynote speaker, Emmanuel Perrotin, one of the first to embrace many of the recent changes, will share his insights about the gallerist's path.

Among other contributors to this year's edition are Clare McAndrew (Arts Economics), Lisa Schiff (Schiff Fine Art), Vanessa Carlos (Carlos/Ishikawa), Anny Shaw (The Art Newspaper), Kenny Schachter (art journalist, collector, and curator), Simon de Pury (de Pury de Pury), JiaJia Fei (The Jewish Museum, NY), Tim Schneider (artnet News), Joe Kennedy (Unit London), Eugenio Re Rebaudengo (Artuner), Elizabeth Dee (Independent), Maribel López (ARCOmadrid), Melanie Gerlis (Financial Times), JJ Charlesworth (ArtReview), Alison McDonald (Gagosian), Jane Morris (Cultureshock), Anna Brady (The Art Newspaper), Lerato Bereng (Stevenson Gallery), Touria El Glaoui (1:54 ContemporaryAfrican Art Fair), Peter Gerdman (ArtTactic), Bomi Odufunade (Dash & Rallo), Süreyya Wille (Artsy), Georgina Adam (The Art Newspaper), Ani Molnar (Ani Molnar Gallery), and Llucià Homs (Talking Galleries).
