Design Manuscript of the Bamboo Horse Incense Burner for the Memorial Service Manuscript, 1996
Manuscript Huang Hua-Cheng regarded 'life' as an expression of 'idea', and he perceived his own “farewell” as an “event”. With the help of his friends to tangibly realise his ideas, he pre-designed with sketches and preliminary plans drafted for his own memorial service, which included stepping on renowned paintings at the entrance, as seen in 'The 1966 École de Great Taipei Autumn Exhibition', and also a visual impression of his final artwork, Bamboo Horse.Courtesy Chiang Ching-San.
