American artist Llyn Foulkes has been consistently ahead of the curve throughout his career as a contemporary artist. Many of his works, though shifting dramatically in style over the years, are informed by Dada and Duchampian playfulness. Foulkes was deemed an early master of pop and included amongst his contemporaries were artists such as John Baldessari, Rober Irwin, Ed Ruscha, and Wallace Berman. Foulkes is also a celebrated Jazz musician.
