The illusion of photography and the state of emotions on the canvas emphasize the lyricism of light and substance. Jin enters the complex unconscious world of human being, by combining a delicate depiction with ambiguity to give the picture a potential sense of uneasiness. Through the deformed face and body, the silence created by the overall picture leaves an indelible mark in the depths of the individual soul. By portraying the ghostly contours of those fleeting moments, the artist emphasizes the contradictions that are prominent in his own modern society. 'I live in two worlds, one of the reality that seems to me like art, the other of my painting which defines me the real.'
