Wolfram Ullrich was born in Würzburg, Germany, in 1961. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart from 1980 to 1986, while taking courses in Art History at the University of Stuttgart. After winning several scholarships in the early 1990s, Ullrich will show his works in exhibitions, either personal or with other artists, first in Germany and then, in the early 2000s, throughout Europe.
Read MoreUllrich's work is composed of wall sculptures playing with perspective, polygons floating in a semblance of depth, drawing the eye with imposing intensely colored areas. Strongly imbued with optical art, Wolfram Ullrich plays with the viewer's gaze, using geometric rigor and the science of illusion.
Ullrich lives and works in Stuttgart.
