Almine Rech London is pleased to present Gioele Amaro’s fourth soloexhibition with the gallery, on view from April 11 to May 18, 2024.

A master of the art of synthesis, Gioele Amaro combines, transformsand blurs the boundaries to construct a dialogue between traditionalmediums (painting, photography, drawing) and new technologies. Hiswork is digitally painted then printed on canvas. He meticulouslyreworks each canvas, applying several layers of varnish. By bringinghis own touch to this original technique, Amaro shifts figurativerepresentation into the abstract and captures the essence of thesubject from real life.
