Sara Ramo taps into the unconscious, fiction, magic and mythology to create narratives of resistance, offering new spaces and temporalities that invite viewers to question consumerist society and its values. Employing different media —collage, installation, video, to name a few— the artist appropriates daily life elements, scenes and spaces only to be extricated from their original context and assigned entirely new meanings.
