G Gallery is pleased to announce parenthesis, the solo exhibition of Lee Hyunwoo, the selected artist of this year's Great Exhibition program.

parenthesis illuminates works that address themes of hatching, metamorphosis, and more through the concept of 'clusters'.

The artist will be presenting several works in which pieces with different shapes and functions come together to form a new cluster, breaking away from their existing context. The artist anticipates and hopes to share the dramatic moment when 'parenthesis,' or 'brackets,' come together to form a single, unified whole, and are seen as the image of a chrysalis just beginning to open, at the moment of metamorphosis.

The opening reception will be held on 7 June from 6 to 8 pm.
