Mendes Wood DM is pleased to return to Art Brussels, presenting a curated selection of Brazilian and international artists from the gallery's program and a solo presentation by Giangiacomo Rosetti, in which the Italian-born and New York-based artist unveils a new development of his practice - monotypes - next to a still-life painting.
You can find more information about Giangiacomo Rosetti's solo presentation for the fair by clicking here.
Across the booth, Brazilian contemporary art on view include the textile creations of Fernando Marques Penteado (artist based in Brussels), new sculpture and painting production from Paulo Nimer Pjota, abstract painting by household name Marina Perez Simão, new bronze work by Adriano Costa (currently on view at our New York gallery), alongside other highlights. International representatives from the gallery include Daniel Steegmann Mangrané (whose retrospective has recently opened at the Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma, in Helsinki, Finland), the mesmerizing works of Guglielmo Castelli (also on view in the New York space), alongside new and historic pieces by Alma Allen, Kishio Suga, Runo Lagomarsino, Vojtěch Kovařík and more.
