Originally from Kosovo, Anjesa Dellova (1994) is a Swiss artist who lives and works in Lausanne. During her Bachelor’s studies at the Ecole Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne (ECAL) in Visual Arts, from which she graduated in 2017, she experienced with various mediums including photography, video and painting. She then decided to devote herself to her pictorial practice and therefore enrolled at the HEAD in Visual Arts, where she developed her own technique that she calls «frottage» (rubbing). Photography then remained a great tool of research for her future monochromes, in which she seeks above all to capture the fragility and strangeness of the face.
