Born in 1980, Jade Pegler lives and works in Wollongong, NSW. Pegler studied art initially at West Wollongong TAFE in 1996 and 1999, before undertaking a visual arts course at the University of Wollongong between 2001-2003.

Pegler has been included in several of Peter Fay’s curated exhibitions like Bloodlines: Art and the Horse at Hawkesbury Regional Gallery in 2007 and If It’s Painting, It Must Be German at Silvershot, Melbourne in 2006. She is in the collection of the Historic Houses Trust of NSW, the University of Wollongong, Wollongong City Gallery and private collections in New South Wales, Victoria, Britain, the United States and France.
