Ocean Leung graduated with Master of Fine Arts from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Leung initiates projects by street drifting and observation on social movements. By employing object, installation, and video, his work acts as interplay of the paradoxical relationship between art and its plight.
Participated exhibitions include solo exhibition A Response to an Intervention (Things That Can Happen, Hong Kong, 2016), Roll Up the Vibrant Breeze (Gallery EXIT, Hong Kong, 2016) and group exhibition The world is a show for my chosen eye’s delight (Gallery EXIT, Hong Kong 2021), Soil and Stones, Souls and Songs (Para Site, Hong Kong, 2017), No Cause for Alarm (La MaMa Galleria, New York, 2016) and Soil and Stones, Souls and Song (Museum of Contemporary Art and Design, Philippine, 2016). LEUNG currently lives and works in Hong Kong.
