Rosilene Luduvico is based in Düsseldorf, Germany. Growing up in the mountains of Espirito Santo in Brazil and finding the topics of her sensitive paintings often in myths, fairy tales, or the landscape of her home country, her works often evoke a yearningly moment of painted silence. Mostly working with either tiny figures, which almost seem to dissolve in their surrounding landscapes, or with portrait-like tender observations of sleeping characters, Luduvico's works are rather to be captured emotionally than intellectually. The paintings draw us to a closer examination of the fragile moments of beauty.
