At Miart 2023, Richard Saltoun Gallery will present a group stand featuring works by Eleanor Antin, one of the most influential feminist and conceptual artists active today; Romany Eveleigh, whose work stands out for her sign-based vocabulary rooted in a minimalist aesthetic; Helen Chadwick, one of the founding figures of British contemporary art; Gina Pane, whose intense and at times violent 'actions' helped defining the international Body Art movement in the 1970s: Silvia Giambrone, whose work explores contemporary body politics, with a particular focus on violence against women; and Raffaela Naldi Rossano, whose work draws inspiration from mythology and results from iconographic and symbolic stratifications.
The stand will also include works by Francis Picabia, Sandro Chia, Toyen and Meret Oppenheim.
