About the Gallery

Wooson Gallery was founded in 2012 in the cultural district ‘Bongsan Culture and Art Street’ in Daegu, South Korea. The gallery building was newly constructed in the same year, specially designed for presentations of contemporary artworks. Wooson Gallery sees its principal mission in introducing great artists of our epoch into the Korean art world and museological integration of their work in Korea. In doing so, the gallery promotes a new communication between art lovers and professionals such as critics and scholars. Simultaneously, the gallery helps audiences to establish an authentic modern visual culture, contributing them to create contemporary collections with a high standard of knowledge of international art production.
