ROMINA DE NOVELLIS

Her body is the center of her questioning, it is both the object of her work and the subject of her research. She creates living pictures to share with the audience through her body. Her performances are very long and her gesture is repetitive. Traces of her work are collected as photos and videos.

In 1999, Romina De Novellis graduated from the Royal Academy of Dance of London. In 2008 she obtained a Master Degree and continued her studies at the DAMS of the University of Rome 3. In Paris, she studies anthropology (PhD) at the EHESS.
