Yuree Kensaku is a multidisciplinary artist known for employing vibrant colours and dark humour interpreted by cartoon characters. Her works being a critical commentary on society, as well as introspective reflections as a female artist, have been featured in numerous solo and group shows since 2007; most recently Imaginarium: Over the Ocean, Under the Sea, Singapore Art Museum at 8Q, 2016; and the Thailand Biennale Krabi, 2018. Her works are included in permanent collections of the Mori Art Museum, Tokyo, Yokohama Museum of Art, Singapore Art Museum, as well as in many prestigious private collections. Yuree Kensaku lives and works in Bangkok.
