Aditya Novali

b. 1978, Indonesia

Adtya Novali was born in Solo, Indonesia, in 1978. Novali began painting as a child, participating in competitions in various cities. He then trained as a dalang, a shadow puppeteer, before moving onto studies in architecture and design. His works are playful and engaging reinterpretations of everyday realms.
