Elaine YJ Zheng is a writer and critic whose work centres on globalisation, historical memory, and the effects of mass displacement on individuals and societies. They bring a third culture perspective to contemporary developments from a childhood between Montreal and Beijing.
Read MorePreviously in Amsterdam, they moved to London after an MA at the Glasgow School of Art and a BA in Philosophy and Critical Theory at the University of Toronto.
Currently, they are focusing on longer projects, while assisting with the publication of Ocula Magazine. Their writing has appeared in Flash Art, thisistomorrow, and Ocula, among other places.
