David Zwirner first opened its doors at 43 Green Street in SoHo New York, in 1993, with a solo presentation of works by the late Austrian artist Franz West. In 2002, Zwirner moved his gallery to West 19th Street in Chelsea. The gallery now has three locations in New York (525 West 19th Street; 537 West 20th Street; 34 East 69th Street), with outposts in London’s Mayfair district (since 2012) and Hong Kong (since 2018).
