Space, bodies, the passing of time and the concept of ephemerality—and the connection between these concepts—are some of the topics thought by Laura Vinci through art. Known for her sculptures and large-scale installations, the Brazilian artist also works as an art director in theatre productions. One of her most recent (and celebrated) works is Folhas avulsas (Loose leaves, 2018), a poetic intervention made of delicate gold-plated leaves.
