ŒuVreS réCEnteS is Jutta Koether’s first solo exhibition at Galerie Chantal Crousel.
Conceived around her ongoing fascination with La Chasse spirituelle—the legendary, apocryphal text long attributed to Arthur Rimbaud—the exhibition also marks a renewed engagement with Paris, a city Jutta Koether approaches not simply as a place, but as an artistic medium. Bringing together a new group of artworks, the exhibition explores painting as a space of improvisation, thought, and transmission, where images, texts and art historical echoes continually interweave.
Created to be experienced in person, these paintings reveal themselves through careful and prolonged observation, inviting each visitor to embark, in Jutta Koether’s words, on a sort of “spiritual hunt.”

Located on rue Charlot in the 3rd arrondissement in Paris, Galerie Chantal Crousel presents a selection of artists highly diverse in their national and cultural origins and mediums who together contribute to a universal visual language.
